Try the New Sharklink!

The new SharkLink is a great way to log into your NSU email, address book, WebCT, WebSTAR, and other links that you choose! It is much improved from the previous system – not only because you can log in once and get into all the places you need, but also because the actual email program is much better than the previous server.
When I came to NSU last August (‘07), it was a bother to try to check all these various places for the messages I needed to get. I forwarded my email. But I love the ability to log in once and get everything I need! I have set my homepage to the SharkLink site, and I think everyone should give it a chance.

To get to your NSU Email:

a. Find the “My E-mail Inbox” module on your SharkLink homepage.
b. Click on any of the messages listed or on the Email link at the bottom of the module.
c. This will open a new window to take you to your NSU Email.

To get to WebCT:

a. Find the “Student” tab at the top of the screen.
b. Go to the “My Courses” module.
c. Click on the Click here to: link at the top of the module.
d. This should take you to your WebCT account.

Message forwarding:

I still hate having to go to WebCT to see if I have class-related email. So I forward all of my WebCT email to my NSU email. You can forward it to any email you want.

a. Log into WebCT via SharkLink or the direct WebCT login.
b. Click on your course. (Note: I have not figured out a way to forward all of the course emails at one time, so I think you need to forward each separately. If anyone has more information, let me know!)
c. Under the “Course Menu,” you should see a link to Email. Click on this link.
d. Click on the box at the top of the screen.
e. You will see an option to “Forward my mail to: . Type your email in the box. It will automatically check the box.
f. Click on the box to save your settings.
