Commencement 2010

CPS Commencement exercises will take place on June 12, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.

The Bank Atlantic Center (Panther Arena, formerly the Office Depot Center) is located at 2555 Panther Parkway (NW 136th Avenue), Sunrise, Florida.

Important Information Regarding Security Procedures at Bank Atlantic Center:
Security measures have been increased at all public facilities since the incidents that took place on September 11, 2001. For your protection, and that of your guests, the following items are not permitted inside the Center: Air horns, balloons, duffle bags, backpacks/backpack style purses, diaper bags, oversize/large purses, alcohol, bottles, food, cans, thermoses, coolers, drugs, chains, fireworks, weapons, noisemakers, laser pointers, and strollers. Purses are subject to inspection prior to entering the center. Please advise your guests not to attempt to bring any of these items into the center. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however, for your safety, and that of your guests, we ask for your patience and cooperation.

Information Packets
Graduating students will receive two packets of information on regalia, hotels, etc. from the University Registrar by mail. Click on this link for details http://www.nova.edu/cwis/registrar/commparticipation.html.

Ceremony
During the commencement ceremony graduates will be called to the stage, announced as a candidate, and be awarded certificates of congratulations. Diplomas will not be distributed at commencement. In order to receive the official diploma, graduating students must submit an Application for Degree to the Office of the University Registrar.
